IG Camp updates!

As we step into the next phase of discipleship and growth, our heart has always been to create a space where young people can truly discover their identity and purpose through a relationship with God. During the youth camp, we witnessed exactly that.

One of the most impactful moments came through Joseph Sonda’s teaching on walking in purity and righteousness. It was a message that carried both weight and grace—something that clearly came from time, dedication, and a deep burden for young people. He shared that the journey of righteousness begins with honesty before God: learning to forgive yourself, repenting sincerely, and asking God for forgiveness. From there, a new path begins.

It was a powerful reminder that walking with God is not about perfection, but about a willing and repentant heart. That truth resonated deeply with many in the room.

One story that particularly touched us was Ivy’s—a young woman in our family who has faced many challenges in her journey of faith. As Joseph led a time of prayer, we felt led to create space for each young person to encounter God personally. In those quiet, sacred moments, hearts were opened, burdens were released, and seeds of transformation were planted.

Here is what Joseph has to say:

One moment I will never forget is Ivy's story.

She had been going through a season where she felt spiritually numb. She believed in God, but she couldn't feel anything... she just wanted one real touch from Him.

After one of the sessions, we gave the youth time to go and be alone with the Holy Spirit.

Ivy went and sat quietly by the pool and prayed a simple prayer:

"Lord, please touch me and heal me."

She wasn't trying hard. She was just honest. In that quiet moment, something changed.

She later told me that she felt a deep peace come over her, like a heavy weight had been lifted. The numbness started to go, and she knew she had encountered the Holy Spirit in a real way.

The next morning she came looking for me, smiling and full of joy, saying:

"I felt Him. The Holy Spirit came."

That moment alone made everything worth it.

And on the final day, about six young people gave their lives to Jesus or recommitted their lives to Him.
